2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Charging

When it comes time to recharge the battery in your Ford F-150 Lightning, you can either plug your truck in at home or on the go! If you want to charge from home, you can either use a Level 1 charger, which plugs into a standard three-prong electrical outlet, or a Level 2 charger, which plugs into a special EV charging station. Level 2 charging stations have to be professionally installed by an electrician, but they drastically reduce your charging time.

Level 1 charging takes multiple days to fully recharge your battery, whereas Level 2 charging can bring you up from 15% to 100% in just eight hours. If you’re out and about around Salisbury, MA, you can take advantage of a Level 3 fast-charging station thanks to the Ford BlueOval Charge Network.
